CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques) is the worldwide confederation for underwater sports, including underwater hockey. The federation was started in 1959 in Monaco. 

The CMAS 1st Intercontinental Championship - Asia/Oceania is an official CMAS event and as such this event is organized with the help and support of CMAS.
